💫 On Saturday, 28 February, and Sunday, 1 March, our first major event of 2026 takes place: the return of our weekend workshops with two very special guests!
Our Guests
- Manley López "El Piri": Exclusively in Munich for the first time! He is a grandmaster of Cuban folklore percussion and a descendant of the legendary family "Los Chinitos de La Corea", the creators of the "Guarapachangueo". He is one of the most influential percussionists of his generation.
- Arturo Martínez: The historic voice of Rumba and former member of "Clave y Guaguancó". He is a Latin Grammy winner (2001) and a legend of Cuban rumba.

Saturday, 28. February
- 12:00 - 13:30: "History of Afro-Cuban Rhythms" – Batá drums & Güiro (percussion & singing / practice & theory)
- 13:40 - 15:10: Changó & Oyá (dance practice)
- From 21:00: CUBAN PARTY "HABANA JAM CONCERT" (concert & animation)
Sunday, 01. March
- 13:30 - 15:00: "El Guarapachangueo" – What is it? (percussion, singing & theory / history & practice)
- 15:10 - 16:40: Guaguancó & Columbia (dance practice)
